Suggest A New Feed
The public feed on Lernabit showcases content from a hand-picked selection of high quality blogs and websites. If you know of a website that should be included, keep reading to find out how to get it included.
What we look for
Feeds must go through a very selective process before being included. Here are some of the things we look for before including a website in the feed.
- Educational - The website can be about almost any topic, but it should be of an educational nature. The goal of the website should be to inform and educate readers. It can be formal education (courses, tutorials, etc) or just for the curious mind (documentaries and the like).
- Depth - We give a preference to sites that focus on deep explanations of complex topics.
- No click bait - While click bait titles tend to perform well on Facebook, Twitter, and other networks, we have a strong preference for quality writing. Our algorithms don't consider the number of clicks when choosing the best content, so there is no need to write misleading titles. Instead, we look at things like how many notes link to the page and how many people have added those notes to their review list. Rather than writing click bait titles, focus on writing informative and thought-provoking content with information people will want to remember.
- Traffic doesn’t matter - The amount of traffic to your website isn’t important. We realize that there are a lot of niche websites with interesting content. If you have a site like that, go ahead and submit it. If it fits the other criteria listed here, we’ll list it on Lernabit.
