There is going to be a spectacular lunar eclipse tonight (May 15, 2022). The moon will pass into Earth's shadow and turn blood red. The eclipse tonight will be extra cool because it is a super moon, meaning the moon will be at the closest point of its orbit, so it will appear extra large and spectacular.
The eclipse will start at 10:28 pm Eastern Daylight Time, it will peak at 12:11 am, and will finish at 1:55 am Eastern time.
