Purines and pyrimidines

In DNA, the purine bases are adenine and guanine, the pyrimidine bases are cytosine and thymine. In RNA, uracil is used instead of thymine. Uracil is a pyrimidine.

Purines:
- Adenine
- Guanine

Pyrimidines:
- Cytosine
- Thymine
- Uracil
