Proportion is a key principle of design
The proportions of an element have to be taken in context of the overall composition. He gives the example of a picture with flowers. It is a pretty picture. But if you zoom in really far on one flower, it doesn't have the same appeal, because without the other items in the image to give proportions, the image loses depth. #GraphicDesign #DesignForHackers
