Italian nouns ending in -ista

Nouns ending in -ista can be either masculine or feminine in the singular.

Masculine nouns become plural by changing the final a to an i.
Feminine nouns become plural by changing the a to an e.

Examples:
Singular: l'artista (artist)
Multiple male artists would be gli artisti.
Multiple female artists would be le artiste.

Singular: il, la farmacista (pharmacist)
Multiple male pharmacists would be i farmacisti.
Multiple female pharmacists would be le farmaciste.
